Visit Visit Artwork Guideline
General / Global Guidelines
1. Artistic Flair vs. Mistakes
All elements of the artwork must have a clear grounding in realism concerning color, light, proportions, symmetry, and adherence to the chosen artistic style. Any elements that may be perceived as errors (e.g., overlaps, unusual asymmetry, or deviations from line work) need a clear creative rationale. These should not appear as unintentional mistakes but as deliberate stylistic choices that contribute to the design’s unique character.
2. Consistency with Brand Identity
Artwork must align with the Visit Visit™ brand’s aesthetic: clean, modern, energetic, and rooted in urban culture. Subtle branding elements like the Visit Visit™ logo or city-related icons should be integrated thoughtfully without overwhelming the main design.
Digital Artwork Guidelines
1. Quality and File Standards
- All digital images must be created at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI to ensure high-quality prints.
- For digital use (web and app), images should be compressed to a size below 200 KB without compromising visual integrity.
- File formats:
- WebP for web and digital assets, ensuring optimal compression and quality.
- SVG for vector-based designs and illustrations, ensuring scalability without quality loss.
2. Image Preparation and Export
- Provide multiple versions for different platforms:
- Social Media: Instagram (1080×1080 px), TikTok (1080×1920 px)
- Website: Hero images (1920×1080 px), Thumbnails (400×400 px)
3. Revisions and Approval
All digital artworks must go through a round of feedback and revisions before receiving final approval. Ensure the design team and relevant stakeholders review the artwork, checking for alignment with brand guidelines, quality, and overall appeal.
Physical Artwork Guidelines
1. Layout and Design Placement
- Front Design: The front of each product must feature the Visit Visit™ logo as a left chest design. The logo should not exceed 4 inches in width to maintain subtlety and brand consistency.
- Back Design: The back of the product will feature the main artwork or graphic by the artist. This design should cover a substantial area without overwhelming the product, typically scaled to fit 60-80% of the back panel.
2. Printing and Material Considerations
Ensure the artwork is optimized for screen printing or embroidery, depending on the product. Designs with fine details may require adjustments for clarity and legibility.
